Our Mission

At MAC Anesthesia, our mission is simple:
To provide the safest, highest-quality, and most cost-effective anesthesia care—while helping medical and dental practices enhance patient outcomes, efficiency, and profitability.

We believe that when patients are calm, comfortable, and pain-free, providers can focus fully on their work. By removing anxiety, awareness, and discomfort—the “human element”—we create a quiet, controlled environment that benefits both patient and provider.

We understand you have options when it comes to sedation. Whether you currently provide your own in-house sedation or are seeking a more efficient solution, we’re honored to be considered as a trusted partner to your practice.

Meet the Founder:
Nicholas McCullough, DNP, CRNA

Founder | Owner | President-Elect of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Anesthesiology

Nicholas McCullough founded MAC Anesthesia with one goal in mind: to bring hospital-grade sedation to the office setting—without the complications of increased cost, time, or overhead.

Dr. McCullough earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He trained and practiced in one of Lafayette’s largest hospitals, refining his skills in complex anesthetic care. During this time, he also began administering sedation at a fertility clinic—where he recognized the need for high-quality, efficient anesthesia services within office-based medical practices.

His experience in both hospital and outpatient environments gave him the insight to create MAC Anesthesia: a concierge mobile sedation service designed to improve care and streamline practice operations.

In addition to clinical work, Dr. McCullough has been a dedicated advocate for the profession. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Anesthesiology since 2019, and currently serves as the President-Elect.

Why It Matters

MAC Anesthesia was built for practices that want to deliver a better patient experience without increasing operational stress. Our mobile model makes sedation seamless—for your office, your team, and your patients.
